Martí Riera (Barcelona, 1955) is an essential ingredient of the first and glorious era of the spanish underground mag "El Víbora". In it he developed among many (or not too many) stories of varying length, the two series for whom he is most known: Dr. Vertigo and The Cabbie. Better known beyond our borders, thanks to appearances in RAW magazine or the Drawn & Quarterly anthology, has certainly filled several paragraphs of the history of comics portraying in black the darkest Spain from the transition and what came out of it.
