Tropicalismo y Conspiraciones

An exhibition of fanzines and posters organized by the Colombian collective La Ramona Proyectos.

The curator draws the viewer to that themed mud that composes it, in that dark tabulation that fascinates us so new and so strange: where does it come from? Where is it going to?, towards meeting the concern that the author would cause its own history? , Towards a comic nightmare?

This raises a series of powerful images that announces the presence of a particular universe, images that rips us open in that time we're caught and then, when it releases us we're not the same anymore. The sample images are engulfed in a sinister place of shortness of breath. These signs are left as if they were destroyed geographies by a feeling half a waya among the desolation and claustrophobia, between between disappointment and frustration. A periphery justified photocopies, fanzines drawings , paintings and animations.

Against any of the works, what attracts the attention is that are images born of the evident desire not to pay the slightest margin of tribute to the convoluted rules and principles of rhetoric that has been kept alive and has generally considered these proposals. The research stems because of no particular reason, because each author sees it as an inexhaustible pleasure of form and color to his creatures, landscapes and even its objects.
