Brighton Beach was forgotten during the 70s and 80s, until hordes of immigrants arrived and gave back life and color to Little Odessa. Today about 150 thousand of immigrants from former Soviet countries have made this place their home, resurrecting this forgotten neighborhood of New York known as the Miami Beach of the modest retirees.
