Aleksandra Waliszewska (Warsaw, 1976) is one of the main and best-known artists in Poland. His work has toured the world and has been published by Dehavilland, Fontarte, Timeless, Kaugummi, United Dead Artists, My Dance the Skull, Drippy Bone Books, Les Éditions du 57 or the Deste Fondation. His paintings are very required as album covers and books. In 2012, the Greek director Athina Rachel Tsangari filmed The Capsule inspired by her work; and, in 2015, Agnieszka Smoczynska turned to the aesthetics of her sirens for the movie The Lure. In Arco 2013, Aleksandra Waliszewska won the AECA Grand Prize for the "best international artist" awarded by the Spanish Association of Art Critics.
