Monsters Gretting Cards (facsimile edition)

Camelot New Press

Robert Crumb (1943) is one of the most famous cartoonist and and a reference in the American underground and countercultural scene of the 60s. However, shortly before disembarking in the San Francisco of the time, Crumb made in 1965, this collection of cards for a gum brand called Topps. It consists of 50 fun cards with colorful and nice messages of greetings on one side, completed on the back by an impertinent and funny ending, always with the appearance of a monster or eschatological scene. A preview of what was coming on Crumb's work.
