Dark Halo 1

The ashes of life lies scattered on old earth. A secret expedition, sponsored by the eccentric oligarch ao, is launched into unknown space, embarked on a quest to find the lost spaceship ark-1. Among the small crew is the idealistic biologist hio who dreams of re-discovering biological life. But as hio and the crew uncover the seemingly barren world of ark-1, they discover that their mission may hold far greater stakes than anticipated.
