Marion Jdanoff continues her work of introspection exploring, this time, an equally complex theme, that of her relationship with intimacy, with love, whether physical or not. For her, Baguenaudes is an attempt to escape the frequent traps that punctuate intimate relationships and the proximity of bodies. In the same way as Guerre, her previous work, Baguenaudes explores the limits of classical illustration from a graphic point of view by juxtaposing in the same story different techniques such as drawing, engraving, painting and the handwritten text.
