Batata-Quente

In Batata-quente (Hot Potato) we follow the strange routine of a teenager gifted with great intellect and arachnid powers, who uses his abilities to fight crime. Pedro Prado, better known as Arachnoid, tries to reconcile his routine as a university student with a series of events that constantly push him to the edge of sanity. Involved in a tumultuous relationship with the beautiful Maria Joana, and oppressed by the excessive care of his Aunt Maria, he seeks refuge in the advice of a mysterious figure known as Stanley, and gradually begins to question the reality that surrounds him. When Prado witnesses an attack on a possibly non-human guru (the sordid Dr. Caraglio de Oliva) and is forced to take action as Arachnoid, the web begins to unravel at a dizzying speed, revealing a truth too disturbing for any mind... even that of a superhero!
