Terrain Glissant

Each drawing has been successively traced, digitized and then erased. This book captures almost 100 drawings created on a Veleda whiteboard with six colored markers. Above all, it reveals a free gesture, perhaps encouraged by the ephemeral nature of its existence as an original. The series only finds its final form in these reproductions, similar in size to the original drawings. The glossy paper reflects the brightness and freshness of the whiteboard, while the outer cover wraps around a hardcover that retains the comforting softness of the uncoated paper. This cover features a cheerful bowl of fruit that, however, has lost its colors. The smell of offset printing when opening the book merges with the lingering memory of the alcohol markers of our childhood.
