The Spirit is Willing

These drawings explore the history of ornamentation and pattern in uncanny spaces with themes of 19th and 20th century western design movements, classical animation tropes and video game references. Stage designs, pinball machines and crystal balls all play a part in spaces that feel like they reside somewhere between a pattern and a representational space.
